Local-first. Clear about the cloud.
Your mailbox stays with your email provider. Jett keeps a working cache on your device and uses cloud services for synchronisation and enabled AI features.
On your device
Cached message bodies, attachments, local search and mailbox analytics. Offline access covers what is already available on this device.
In the cloud
Account data and mailbox metadata, including subjects, snippets and AI summaries. Full raw bodies and attachment files are not stored in Jett’s cloud database.
When AI runs
Enabled automatic sorting sends bounded email text to Microsoft Foundry. Chat sends your prompts; document analysis sends selected page text. AI is not entirely on-device.
Jett does not provide end-to-end encrypted email. Drafting previews remain in development, and generating a draft does not send it. Optional website analytics can be declined or withdrawn in Cookie settings.
