A calendar that keeps up with your day

Our vision for Calendar in Jett version 1: connected schedules, clearer availability, and timely reminders on your home screen.

A meeting moves. A new invitation arrives. An important follow-up needs time before the next call. Your inbox and your calendar describe the same day, and we want Jett to help you keep them together.

Calendar is being built now. This is the experience we’re working toward for version 1; connected calendar support is still being validated, and the availability assistance and Home reminders described here are part of that direction.

Your schedule, kept in step

Our aim is to connect the Google and Microsoft calendars you already use and keep their events up to date in Jett. When a meeting changes time or gets cancelled, that change should be reflected in your day without you having to keep checking another app.

Version 1 is centered on the essentials: seeing upcoming events, choosing which calendars to include, managing appointments, and responding to invitations. Your existing calendar remains the source of your schedule, with changes made in Jett syncing back to it.

Know when there is room

When someone asks for a meeting, we want Jett to help you understand whether the proposed time fits. The goal is to check the calendars you’ve enabled, identify overlapping commitments, and help you find an open slot.

That answer needs to be precise. Time zones, recurring events, and recent changes all matter. If a calendar hasn’t finished updating or part of your schedule is unavailable, Jett should make that clear. An empty space is only useful when you can trust the information behind it.

Scheduling assistance is still in development. Our intent is for Jett to prepare a suggestion you can review, with your confirmation before it creates or changes a meeting or sends an invitation.

The right reminder on Home

We want the home screen to give you a useful sense of what needs attention next. An upcoming meeting, something to prepare beforehand, or an important follow-up should be easy to notice when you open Jett.

For version 1, our goal is to bring those calendar moments and reminders into the daily overview, with enough context to help you act. Imagine opening Jett before a call and seeing both when it starts and the follow-up you wanted to finish first. That is the kind of continuity we’re designing toward.

Built around your attention

The purpose of Calendar is to make planning your day take less work. We’re starting with a schedule you can rely on, clear availability information, and reminders that have a reason to be there. It follows the same design principles that shape the rest of Jett: precision, clarity, and care for your attention.
